Gateway’s Bug Barriers® and Screens are ideally suited for providing insect control and increased air circulation in a wide variety of doorway openings. Our doors are most commonly used in the food industry and in manufacturing facilities. Where as the FDA, USDA and the AIB (American Institute of Baking) has required that all doors used for ventilation should have screen doors. By using our Bug Barriers® doors these companies will be reducing and/ or may be eliminating the contamination of food products as well as the number of diseases associated with mosquitoes and other insects.

We believe in “solid construction” for our doors. Gateways roll up Bug Barriers® are made of a sturdy heavy- duty construction that would include galvanized steel guide tracks that are impact resistant. The sliding Bug Barriers® are manufactured by using heavy-gauge galvanized steel mounting hardware with easy glide opening that works with ball bearing trolleys. Gateway Industrial Products also provides impact resistant wind bars for the roll up Bug Barrier® doors and full height, heavy galvanized steel pipe staffs are used for stabilization wind bars in the sliding Bug Barriers®.

All of our Bug Barriers®, are made of 13-oz/sq yd industrial strength green vinyl coated polyester weave screen, with a thread count of 17 x 11. This screen offers you and your employees added security benefits by preventing anyone looking in from outside. Gateway Bug Barriers® also allow all personal to have full vision of the door by supplying yellow safety strips on the inside face of the door.

Gateway Industrial Products offers the standard mounting options, header and face of wall mount, as well as a standoff bracket mounting option. Gateway’s standoff bracket is manufactured to fit around obstructions & project from the wall. Our Bug Barrier® doors are custom made for almost any size.
